Jinny was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she served as church organist and pianist and taught Sunday school for many years. She and Jerry were members of the Northfield Lions Club for a number of years. They also were very interested in the history of their families and took many drives in the country side in the Northfield and Kenyon areas visiting farms where their families once lived.
